Lutron Electronics Software Engineer interview experience

After that, the technical part asked me to code in an object-oriented style, and I ended up building shape-related classes like circle and rectangle as the core work.

Once the objects were in place, I moved into algorithms and finished by answering questions from them—so it wasn’t just a one-way evaluation. The whole session felt like a conversation that happened to include coding, where the interviewer cared about how I organized my approach. It didn’t feel like a high-pressure interview, but I didn’t get an offer. Still, I appreciated that it was focused and practical rather than abstract.
