Lucid Software Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Hard

Positive

Charlotte, NCPosted Mar 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The interview itself was about an hour, and I was given three coding questions.

The first two were pretty easy, but the last one required me to implement a game, and it ended up consuming almost all my time. Most of my effort went into building the core logic, and I didn’t have as much breathing room as I wanted.

Even with the time sink, I had a positive overall experience. I didn’t end up with an offer, but I felt like the interaction was fair and that my focus was clearly on the right hard part of the prompt.
