The process included both an in-person interview and a phone interview.

The phone interview felt really vague, and I got the sense the interviewer didn’t know much about the role or was working straight off a job description.

To prepare for the in-person step, I focused heavily on doing deep research about the company and aligning my experience with the job requirements. The in-person portion came after that, but the thing that stayed with me most was how unclear the phone conversation was.

I didn’t receive an offer. Looking back, the most surprising part was that early lack of specificity—it made the overall process feel harder to navigate than it needed to be.
