After being set up via an email scheduling flow, I went into a fairly standard interview that mixed a small technical component with behavior questions.

The structure felt familiar: several behavioral prompts, plus one technical question. The recruiter-style guidance on the process matched how it actually played out, and the interviewers leaned on questions that sounded like they were pulled from their public material.

On the technical side, I was asked about an LQR controller, which was the only “hard” anchor point of the session. The rest of the time was conversational—talking through my experience and drawing out how I approached different situations. I remember using a STAR-style response cadence because it helped keep my stories clear
