Short Pump, VAPosted Nov 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

After I applied for the role, I got a quick phone call and then went in for an interview.

The whole thing felt very upbeat and pretty casual, and it matched the vibe I’d heard about the company—more about being a good fit and less about some high-pressure interrogation.

The conversation centered on what the store was looking for and what the company offered to people who wanted to join. It followed the same general pattern I’d seen with other retail organizations, so I felt comfortable walking in, and it never turned intimidating or overly formal. Even though I wasn’t offered the job, the process left me with a genuinely positive, light feeling.
