San Francisco, CAPosted Mar 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My experience started with an online coding challenge.

I passed through the available test cases, and the setup even allowed me to construct my own test cases, so I felt like I was checking my work thoroughly. Still, I was rejected after the online stage, which was frustrating because the result didn’t seem to match the confidence I had going into it.

Later, I had another similar trajectory: an online coding step followed by a phone interview. The phone conversation went smoothly, and I remember the interviewer giving strong positive feedback afterward. I thought that meant I’d move on, but the company ended up sending a generic rejection
