San Francisco, CAPosted Oct 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

After applying, I went through a graph-focused coding challenge and then moved into phone interviews where I talked through algorithm choices rather than coding collaboratively.

I had to handle not only the programming part but also detailed explanations of how my approach worked.

The recruiter interactions were friendly, and the technical difficulty felt solid—questions required a real understanding of how graphs and related algorithms behave. Even though I felt like I navigated the rounds competently, I didn’t end up with an offer, and the overall feel was that the process was evaluating both correctness and the quality of my explanation.
