Licious Software Engineer interview experience

Posted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with an online assessment for the SDE-II role on Unberry.

It was proctored with my camera and mic on, and the total time window was about 60–80 minutes. There were seven levels, so it felt structured and step-by-step from the beginning.

The first level was Java and Spring programming focused MCQs—17 questions with around 15 minutes allotted. After that, I had a spoken test where I went through Java interview-style questions, still centered on Java and Spring programming concepts. Overall, it felt like a mix of coding knowledge checks and verbal reasoning, and I had to stay alert the whole time because the rounds came in quick succession.
