The interview process ended fairly early for me, and it didn’t feel like there was much to push through.

One part of it was basically a quick “no,” and the reason I was given—or the reason I concluded—was that the pay wasn’t good and the title didn’t match what the job description promised. I ended up deciding it wasn’t a fit overall.

In another stage, I made it partway through but didn’t go far. I kept the experience in mind and would have been open to applying again later after gaining more experience, since I felt like my background wasn’t quite where they wanted it.

Neither path led to an offer, and the main thing I carried forward was that the process wasn’t so much about repeated rounds
