I had an unexpectedly casual process with limited technical depth, plus a quick onsite-style component in at least one similar path.

Casual project/internship chat — I discussed my projects and internship background; the interview was up to about 30 minutes with no deep technical questions.
(Similar quick onsite flow) — In another experience, it moved within two weeks and included a very basic Excel test using formulas, plus an on-site conversation to align with responsibilities. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that some tracks prioritized discussion and readiness over hard technical screens.
