Lenovo Software Engineer interview experience

My experience started like many others—an initial recruiter call, then a manager-stage conversation that quickly turned uncomfortable.

During the hiring-manager round, one interviewer came across as genuinely constructive and seemed to understand my answers. The other felt dismissive from the start, with an attitude that suggested no matter what I said, I wouldn’t be getting hired. It wasn’t the kind of disagreement that’s useful; it just felt demotivating and needlessly harsh.

The process also had a rushed, unprofessional vibe that stuck with me. At one point I was repeatedly interrupted while I tried to explain my project, and I was asked to draw the flow on a whiteboard instead of being allowed to finish my explanation.
