I applied through my school’s recruiting program, and once my materials were in, the interviewer reached out almost immediately, even asking to speak that day or early the next morning.

The interview ended up being a mix of fit questions and technical questions.

Nothing felt completely unexpected at the start, but the technical difficulty kept climbing. As the interview went on, I started second-guessing myself because it felt like each new question assumed I’d mastered the last one. I didn’t get an offer, and what stayed with me most was how quickly the technical portion escalated.
