The first round was an online technical test, and it functioned like a filter.

If I was selected, I would move into a second technical round where I had to write and run code for a few questions that were asked. The coding part mattered because they were looking for working solutions, not just talk.

After that second technical stage, if I cleared it I would be informed about the further rounds of the interview. My experience ended before an offer, but the process clearly felt like a checkpoint-based technical screening where passing the coding test was the key to continuing.
