My Kotak interview process was three rounds: a BarRaiser screen, a system design round, and then a techno-managerial round.

The screening was scheduled via an email from BarRaiser, and during the interview I had to share my screen and solve a “shipment battle” style game coding problem. We walked through the solution together and then discussed how to improve time and space complexity. The discussion also touched RDBMS and low-level design, specifically around implementing APIs for the game.

About the next stage, the system design round asked me to design something like BookMyShow for event bookings, using the idea of a real concert scenario as context. I had to think through scalability and performance tradeoffs
