Kotak Mahindra Bank Software Engineer interview experience

Posted Mar 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I asked about the kind of DSA questions that were coming up for Kotak’s SDE 2 interviews recently, and I shared the specific problems I’d seen referenced for the rounds.

The questions included classic LeetCode-style prompts like longest consecutive sequence and group anagrams, and they were tied to Round 2.

The way I experienced it wasn’t described as a full walkthrough of every interview step, more like a targeted set of round-specific DSA items that gave a sense of what the process was testing. What stood out to me was how directly the problems mapped to known patterns rather than abstract theory.

I didn’t report an offer or a final result with this specific entry. Still, the concrete question set made the round feel more predictable than most hiring
