I was scheduled through a recruiting agency, and the plan was to do a video teleconference interview.

I rearranged other appointments to make time for it. When the scheduled time came, the interviewer didn’t show up, and I ended up staring at a blank screen for a while.

I tried reaching the company to sort it out, but I couldn’t get through at all. Eventually I received an email saying something had come up and that they’d attempt to reschedule.

I didn’t move forward after that. Even though it was marked as an easy difficulty, what made it memorable wasn’t the interview content—it was the complete lack of presence and the time I lost waiting.
