My interview journey had a clear multi-step structure that started with HR and then escalated into managers tied to the field.

First I had an HR conversation; once that went well, I was scheduled to meet with a construction manager out in the field. From there, the process moved toward an in-person day where I met multiple people across the company and had several interviews with construction managers.

What surprised me was how long it took end to end. In total, it stretched out close to three months, and it never felt like a quick “yes or no” sprint. The good part was that the process felt relaxed and friendly even with the extended timeline, and I kept talking to different stakeholders as it progressed.
