Kiewit Corporation Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Hard

Negative

United StatesPosted Sep 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied and was contacted for an interview the same week, so the timing was fast.

But the interview itself didn’t go well. The woman I spoke with felt very rude and like she was having a bad day, and the tone immediately put me on edge.

It was hard to get into a normal conversation once the interview started feeling hostile, and that overall vibe drove the experience in a negative direction. I didn’t receive an offer, and the main thing I remember is how strongly the interviewer’s attitude shaped the whole process.
