I walked into what I expected to be a standard interview, but it quickly became stressful because of how the interviewer conducted the conversation.

He kept asking questions in a pressing, almost confrontational way, which made it hard to think through my responses calmly.

It also felt awkward and distracting that he talked about his own long tenure, as if that status justified the intensity of the questioning. The experience wasn’t just difficult technically—it was difficult emotionally, and I left feeling that the environment wasn’t respectful.

I didn’t want to continue with the process after that. Even though I was there to evaluate a potential role, the tone of the interview convinced me it wouldn’t be a good fit for me.
