I interviewed for an Account Executive role through shorter event-style rounds that were quick, but sometimes ended abruptly.

Hiring event intro + rapid mini-interviews — I attended an interview/hiring event where I heard about the company and then did back-to-back short interviews with different people.
Follow-up with leadership (if advanced) — In the event flow, I expected more stages, but one experience I was told there would be a second interview and then received a callback saying they weren’t moving forward. Outcome: I didn’t progress to a full offer; the takeaway was that event pipelines could be fast but not always predictable.
