My interview began with a brief technical background introduction—something like a minute for me to set context.

Then the bulk of the session went into an approach that tested core reasoning: I was asked a small set of questions about things like complexity, comparing algorithms, and whether a proposed algorithm was valid.

After that, I got a longer coding challenge—about forty-five minutes—with an explicit requirement to analyze time and space complexity after finishing the solution. Once the coding part was done, I got asked if I had anything to ask.

It ended there, and I didn’t end up with an offer. What I remember most was how tightly the evaluation mapped to fundamentals: complexity reasoning
