Karat Software Engineer interview experience

A few days later, I was contacted to say I was unsuccessful. The fact that I’d been able to solve the challenge on my end, combined with the interviewer’s apparent lack of familiarity, made the whole result feel a little unclear.

Ultimately there was no offer. What I carried forward from the experience was a strong sense that fit and evaluation weren’t just about the problem-solving moment, but also about whether the interviewer could accurately assess what was happening.
