JPMorganChase Software Engineer interview experience

My phone screening felt a bit uncomfortable from the start.

I was asked questions back-to-back, and I could feel myself getting rushed as I tried to pause and organize my thoughts. That pressure made the flow feel less natural than I was used to in interviews.

At one point, I was asked whether I was reading from something, and that honestly threw me off. I understood they were managing many candidates, but the lack of patience and clarity affected how I performed. I left feeling like the conversation could’ve gone better with a more supportive tone, and ultimately it didn’t lead to an offer.
