I applied for the Frontend Engineer role through campus placement and got an online link for an assessment.

The test was focused on JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and aptitude, and I ended up doing very well on it.

After that, I was called to the office. The first round was DSA, and it felt pretty manageable because the questions aligned more with a frontend mindset than heavy algorithm theory. In the next round, they gave me a design and asked me to implement the required functionality using vanilla JavaScript along with CSS and HTML. The overall vibe stayed practical—less about theory, more about whether I could translate a UI into working frontend behavior.
