After a recruiter call with the Chicago office, I moved into a relatively straightforward sequence that felt more like getting to know each other than a high-stakes grilling.

I answered basic questions about why I wanted to work at JLL and walked through my past experience and what I’d done before.

A short time later, the process continued with a few more steps—overall it came down to three rounds plus an assessment at the end. Everything I experienced was conversational, and the people I spoke with were open about their own experiences, which made it easy to talk through my background. The questions were grounded in my resume, and the whole flow felt organized and low-stress. I never felt blindsided, and the interviewers came across as genuinely nice.
