I had a two-step path from HR to a developer/manager technical discussion, but the experience felt unprofessional and overly detailed.

HR pre-screening — I spoke with HR to align my resume with the role and then moved quickly to the next stage.
Technical interview — A manager interviewed me while frequently distracted (talking to colleagues, attending calls, and muting), and asked very detailed questions that didn’t match the compensation.
HR/fit follow-up (implied process step) — The flow suggested HR involvement after the technical discussion. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that question depth and professionalism both strongly affected the experience.
