JCPenney Account Executive interview experience

After I introduced myself, I answered questions about my experience, teamwork, and customer service—how I’d listen, how I’d handle tricky customer moments, and whether I could come across as friendly and reliable.

The setting felt focused on day-to-day behaviors rather than anything overly technical. I remember the interviewer watching how I came across in real time: whether I stayed positive, listened closely, and worked well with the dynamic in the room.

Overall it felt like a clear fit check, and it ended with me getting offered the position.
