J.B. Hunt Transport Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Negative

Charlotte, NCPosted Jul 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a technical round where I received feedback afterward that I communicated well and was suitable for another role, but I never got called back for anything further.

The panel had two people, and it felt like they were looking more for SQL support than for a Java coder.

Even though the feedback about my communication was positive, the lack of follow-up made the experience feel like it ended abruptly. I didn’t receive an offer, and my reflection was that the role focus didn’t line up with what I was being evaluated on—so even when I performed “well,” it wasn’t for the job I thought I was interviewing for.
