Irvine, CAPosted Apr 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I didn’t go through a separate initial screening; HR scheduled my interview straight away.

The first and main phone call included the hiring manager and an engineer, and the questions were focused on behavioral topics plus my prior experience.

It wasn’t a technical deep dive, but it still felt like a proper first evaluation of how I’d describe my work history and how I framed situations. By the end, it was clear they were assessing fit and communication more than technical problem-solving.
