I experienced an average-difficulty technical screening that centered on Java fundamentals and how well I knew the stack I listed.

Technical screen — I was asked to cover my experience, including testing and CI/CD, with specifics like Maven and Spring Boot annotations.
Core Java deep dive — They probed Java 8 features and basic OOP/database concepts (including mapping-style questions and related fundamentals).
Follow-up fundamentals — I also went through targeted Java questions such as distinctions between interface vs abstract class and key ID concepts (primary vs foreign). Outcome: I didn’t advance, but the questions were clearly structured around Java knowledge and the technologies from my resume.
