Intuit Software Engineer interview experience

Mountain View, CACandidate report, summarized by Dataford

After I went through the Intuit process and received an offer for Senior Software Engineer, I was pulled into a compensation negotiation call.

It was a distinct step after the interviews themselves, and it felt like the process had finally moved from evaluation to final alignment.

The main thing I remember was how quickly things shifted once the offer was in place. I went into the call expecting discussion around the numbers and terms, and it confirmed that the last phase was about closing details rather than re-testing technical fit.

Reflecting on it, the negotiation call felt straightforward compared to the uncertainty of earlier rounds, but it was still an important checkpoint that marked the end of the interview journey.
