My interview started with a friendly introduction and then a quick resume-based chat about my background and tech stack.

From there, the session became a heavy question round covering core computer science fundamentals—things like DBMS, object-oriented programming, operating systems, and computer networks. I could tell they were looking for breadth, not just one narrow area.

After the foundational questions, I got a DSA problem focused on trees: finding the number of islands in a tree where each node had a 0 or 1 value. The interviewer asked a lot of questions as I talked through my thinking, so even when I didn’t immediately land on the cleanest solution, the back-and-forth pushed me to justify the approach.
