Los Angeles, CAPosted Mar 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

It started with a phone interview focused on my background, and I felt like it was a standard screen—straight to the point.

After that, I went to a live coding test delivered through HackerRank. That part was clear enough in format and gave me a chance to demonstrate whether I could complete the requested programming task.

The most distinctive detail wasn’t the coding at all—it was compensation. They were extremely explicit that $15 per hour was non-negotiable. Once I heard that, it shifted how I interpreted the whole process, because it made the discussion feel predetermined rather than open-ended.
