Atlanta, GAPosted Jul 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at ICE in an average-difficulty, multi-step process that stretched over a few weeks.

HR screen — A short 15-minute call focused on my background, role details, and compensation.
Technical round (1) — A 45-minute live technical interview.
Technical round (2) — Another 45-minute technical interview with two interviewers.
Leadership round — A final 45-minute conversation with the director and a senior leader that went well. Outcome: I didn’t get the offer, but the later leadership conversation felt positive; overall it was a structured, staged process.
