I had a generally welcoming interview atmosphere, but the questions still pushed beyond simple recall—more problem-solving and algorithm thinking.

Initial interview — a shorter session centered on thinking-through rather than rote facts (often situational).
In-person technical round — focused on situational problem-solving with multiple members.
CTO-style technical discussion — I explained algorithm development experience and walked through approaches to solve an algorithmic problem step-by-step. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the common theme was supportive communication paired with genuine technical challenge.
