I had an especially long, immersive interview experience: it lasted about five hours with both a hiring-manager segment and a technical interview.

The technical part covered layout and design topics, and they made sure I addressed the full set of areas they cared about.

After the technical sessions wrapped up, the hiring manager stepped in and asked follow-up questions to round things out. Overall it felt good—organized and thorough rather than chaotic. I finished feeling like I’d had to cover real breadth in design/layout, and that translated into a positive experience with an offer.
