When I reached the company, it felt like there was a mismatch from the start.

I couldn’t tell who was actually shortlisting candidates, and it didn’t feel like the required skills were truly being checked properly. The role call letter mentioned certain skills, but I was instead asked about MVC experience once I got there.

After that confusion, I still had to wait—about an hour—for a discussion that was supposed to be fairly short. The whole situation felt like it wasted my time, money, and energy, mainly because the expectations didn’t line up with what I saw in the initial communication.
