My process ran longer and covered more checkpoints than I expected.

I started with recruiter-style screening, and then there were additional calls that functioned like personality and fit checks—some aimed at spotting glaring gaps. Eventually I sat down with a manager and an HR representative, and the conversation stayed mostly generic, focusing on how I approached situations and what I had done previously.

On top of that, there was an assessment of industry knowledge, which added a more concrete component to the otherwise general questions. All told, it stretched to about three hours, and it felt like they wanted a full view of me in a single sitting.
