San Francisco, CAPosted Aug 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a shorter, low-friction interview experience that leaned heavily on selling the role, but still ended without an offer.

Recruiter/first calls — I had quick conversations where the recruiter explained the position, the process, and what to expect, with limited deep questioning.
Additional Zoom/phone interviews — I joined one or two more calls that stayed pretty straightforward; the tone was more promotional than rigorous.
In-person requirement (when applicable) — In one path, I was expected to fly for a final round and travel/logistics were not covered.
Final decision stage — Even when the interviews seemed to go well, I either declined the offer or didn’t receive one after the final
