My process felt long and tedious because there were multiple interview rounds, and a big part of it was them trying to figure out which team I should go to.

It wasn’t framed as a tight, progressive evaluation—more like a sequence of conversations that stretched out while they matched me to an org.

By the time everything finished, I was given a lowball offer. The reason they gave for the number was that they based it on my payslips.

Even if I was moving through rounds, it didn’t translate into a strong outcome for me. Honestly, the most frustrating part was how drawn out the process felt, and then how the decision came down to compensation history rather than the value of what I’d shown in interview.
