Infosys Systems Engineer interview experience

Each section had a cutoff score, so the structure felt pretty segmented rather than one long test. Overall, it landed as very manageable because the questions stayed mostly at the “basic but varied” level.

After that, I moved to an interview round that felt almost like a quick conversation rather than a grilling. I was asked to describe my projects, then I had to explain steps of system design. The rest of the time drifted into lighter personal topics—things like hobbies and where I was from—so the pace was relaxed and I never felt like I was being tricked.
