My process began the way a lot of campus/referral workflows do: a recruiter reached out first, and the call was mainly to align on the role and my background.

After that, I had to complete a proctored online technical assessment. It ran for about two hours and had a few problems, and then I moved into a live technical interview with company engineers.

In the live round, they asked about specific projects from my resume and had me think through solutions live. I coded solutions to simple problems to demonstrate basic data structure understanding—things like dictionaries and arrays in Python were mentioned as the example areas. System design questions were also included: they asked how I would scale an application similar to something I had worked
