Infosys Software Engineer interview experience

The first was a technical screen focused on basics of Java, and I also got a string-based DSA question. It was straightforward enough that I could concentrate on explaining my reasoning, not just the final answer.

The second round was managerial and happened in person. The questions were basic behavioral-focused, and the interviewer kept bringing me back to my resume skills and my approach to problem-solving. That part felt like they were trying to understand how I’d work rather than just what I’d memorize, and overall it matched an easy-to-average level.
