My loop included a phone screening followed by an interview with the hiring manager, then a series of technical interviews with engineers and a VP.

Altogether, I went through five technical interviews, each lasting about 45 minutes.

The questions covered a wide breadth of topics. Even though the interviewers didn’t go extremely deep in every area, each person asked a different type of technical question, so it still felt like a gauntlet to keep up across topics. I was given time to ask questions, which I appreciated, but I never got to meet teammates I would directly work with.

I didn’t end up getting an offer. Still, I remember the experience as structured and thoughtful in terms of coverage, even if it didn’t reach the final step.
