My first step was more about scheduling than the actual deep-dive.

I got started with an initial interview that focused on getting the process moving, and I had an inside connection who had recommended me. So far, the experience felt respectful, and I didn’t feel talked down to.

What I remember most clearly is that things were going well in terms of tone and how I was treated, and I was applying for an opportunity in Sweden. The process still didn’t go to a full outcome in what I captured, but the first interaction left me feeling positive about the way I was handled.
