I interviewed for Software Engineer in a difficult, campus placement-style process with multiple rounds of CS fundamentals and DSA, including challenging assessments.

Assessment (MCQ + coding) — I started with an MCQ section plus multiple coding problems as a shortlisting step.
Technical round — I solved several coding questions.
Technical + HR (face-to-face) — I handled a final mix of deep technical questioning and HR evaluation.
Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that Linux/DBMS/OS depth and broader CS fundamentals heavily impacted difficulty at later stages.
