My process took about two weeks and felt pretty focused.

After a recruiter conversation, I moved into a technical API round where I was asked standard REST API fundamentals—things like REST methods, how JSON and XML differ, and what authentication looks like when you’re calling an API.

The questions also kept circling back to practical integration work: managing API integrations and handling the API development side of requirements gathering. What stood out was how much the discussion felt like it was testing whether I could reason through bottlenecks from a product need and then map that to integration work.
