I interviewed for Software Engineer with a project-first approach and then moved into practical problem-solving, finishing with HR.

Technical interview (project-based) — I explained projects I had worked on and discussed my experience.
Problem-solving / thought process — I was asked to reason through how I’d solve a problem, not just implement.
Coding / complete skills check (where included) — I was evaluated on coding directly as well.
HR round — I wrapped up with HR discussion including work location.
Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that they looked for clarity of thought and the ability to connect your coding to real project work.
