In my interview, they asked mostly about C concepts—pointers and general C topics—without a coding test.

The questions sounded more modern than the interview format they used, and they also brought up C++ areas like polymorphism and access specifiers.

They asked very practical questions too, like how many files I’d worked with, which they linked to the size of the software and how many files their systems handle. They even discussed a potential shift to Ada since their development in air traffic management uses Ada and they mentioned training would be provided. Overall it was a mix of language fundamentals and environment-specific constraints, with no live coding pressure.
