One part of the process required me to take a codility-style test using a Coda Byte setup.

It felt structured: they provided the necessary resources so I could prepare for the challenge, and I had to go through it carefully.

After I passed that test, the next step was an oral interview. The whole arc was basically test-first and then a conversation to see how I approached things, rather than starting with a deep technical discussion immediately. It made the process feel a bit gatekept, but at least it was clear what they were measuring.
